The brief called for a warm, character-driven image that could carry both whimsy and emotional weight, a bear at ease above a lush rainforest canopy, inviting rather than intimidating.

Illustrated entirely by hand in Procreate, the work balances a soft, rounded character with a richly layered environment: tropical foliage, atmospheric depth, texture, and warm naturalistic colour.
